The IES Cartuja has got an Erasmus Accreditation (KA 120) approved and current for the next 3 years. All scheduled activities are funded by the EU. They use English or French as the language of communication,
Two long-term mobilities (35 days, trips included), on an exchange basis. Each activity requires a preparatory visit (5 days, trips included), also granted, for a teacher who must arrange an study agreement with the partner school and organize the student stay. The teacher also performs as a tutor for the sending student, when the exchange takes place.
22 group mobilities (7 days, trips included) for students aged 15-16, on a school exchange basis with students from another EU country
4 Job Shadowings (7 days) for teachers.
Staying an expert.
Regarding the objectives, the project aims to continue with the effort that our school has been making to improve the environmental awareness of our students. In other countries there are different ways of dealing with the environmental impact of human activity, and it is essential to know those experiences.
Participation in Erasmus activities will promote knowledge of European cultures, as well as a proactive personal attitude towards internationalization.
The active participation of people in today's society requires optimal language skills. This Erasmus Plan is one of the few opportunities that our students have to acquire some first experiences of European mobility.
Finally, the current digital reality makes it necessary to advance in the digital transformation of the teaching-learning process with the design of new academic roles for both the student and the teacher.
